🔎 Job Description:
Amazon is hiring a proactive and passionate WHS Officer to support our delivery station operations across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. ✅ Responsibilities:
● Lead site risk assessments for current and new activities
● Develop and implement WHS training matrices and programs
● Conduct regular WHS audits (GEMBA walks, TDRs, driver inspections)
● Investigate incidents, manage CAPAs, and conduct root cause analysis
● Guide area managers on WHS standards and Gensuite compliance
● Manage PPE inventory and site-level WHS procurement
● Support emergency response, safety drills, and permit-to-work procedures
● Monitor Heat Index and assist in risk management related to weather conditions
● Prepare reports, meeting agendas, and track daily actions
● Drive WHS initiatives and safety culture among site staff
● Report directly to the Country WHS Manager
🎯 Requirements:
● NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)
● Previous WHS experience (logistics/industrial settings preferred)
● Excellent English communication and reporting skills
● Valid UAE driving license and own transport
● Strong skills in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
● Capable of handling audits, inspections, and high-pressure environments
✨ Preferred Qualifications:
● First Aid and CPR certification
● Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or Science
● Experience with emergency drills, incident analysis, and process improvements
● Passionate about building a safety-first culture
