🔎 Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HSE Officer to support our QHSE Manager in maintaining and improving our Health, Safety & Environmental systems at Waste Treatment FZCO Shoualah. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate with relevant education and certifications to begin a hands-on career in environmental and safety management.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
● Support the implementation of UAE & Dubai HSE regulations and company QHSE policies
● Conduct labor monitoring as per IFC Performance Standards
● Assist with risk assessments, emergency drills, inspections, and audits
● Supervise employee security, vehicle movement, and contractor HSE compliance
● Monitor and maintain firefighting and life safety equipment
● Participate in toolbox talks, employee induction, and HSE trainings
● Maintain proper records of safety observations, reports, inspections, and inventory
● Coordinate with HR for HSE training needs and documentation
● Conduct incident investigations and help reduce workplace risks
● Support the Nurse and medical team with injury reports, incident response, and health preparedness
● Ensure chemical safety training and MSDS documentation is up to date
● Oversee security functions and vehicle data management at site
● Collaborate with the Emergency & Rescue team on drills and Civil Defense requirements
🎓 Qualifications & Certifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
● NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (desirable)
● Diploma in Fire Safety, OSHA, IOSH preferred
● Relevant HSE training and awareness certifications
👨💻 Experience:
● Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
● Exposure to HSE practices through internships or academic projects is a plus
