🔎 Job Description:
ARTELIA AIRPORTS is hiring a dedicated HSE Officer (Supervision) to support the Resident Engineer in the application of all effective Health and Safety measures on construction projects. This position will ensure compliance with safety regulations, monitor contractor activities, and contribute to the safety culture on-site.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure revisions to safety plans are provided by the contractor and filed in HSE department records
- Notify the Resident Engineer/Project Manager of changes to contractor HSE personnel
- Ensure implementation of the Accident and Incident Reporting Protocol and monitor contractor compliance
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify safety issues, suggesting corrective measures
- Assist in compiling HSE records and reports
- Monitor Permit to Work compliance, such as Hot Work Permits
- Organize and participate in HSE meetings and training sessions
- Ensure all contractors receive HSE induction and track attendance
🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in HSE for the construction industry, with a background in Architecture/Engineering being advantageous
- 7+ years of experience in heavy construction safety
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA construction standards
- NEBOSH certification (mandatory)
- Experience with Safety Management Systems (e.g., OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills
