Your Role:
As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring safety policies are implemented and upheld across all operations. This includes daily inspections, hazard identification, safety system maintenance, and regulatory compliance in accordance with Civil Defense and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct daily HSE inspections using checklists across plant facilities
✅ Monitor fire detection and suppression systems to ensure operational readiness
✅ Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions; initiate corrective actions
✅ Maintain and calibrate safety equipment and ensure first aid/fire extinguishers are serviceable
✅ Post safety signs and warnings in hazardous zones
✅ Maintain detailed records of safety systems, inspections, and expiry dates
✅ Apply safety knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and chemical processes during audits
✅ Advise senior management on critical safety issues, potential litigation, or incidents requiring escalation
Requirements:
🎓 Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety & Environmental Engineering
- Diploma holders with relevant HSE experience may also be considered
🧠 Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in HSE roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Saudi Civil Defense Regulations and safety compliance procedures
🛠 Skills & Competencies:
- Solid knowledge of fire safety systems and workplace hazard management
- Proactive reporting and strong recordkeeping
- Good communication and coordination with operations and engineering teams
