🔎 Job Description:
A leading developer and operator of power and desalinated water plants, with over 90 assets across 13 countries, is hiring a Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Engineer for its Rabigh plant. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of HSSE programs, manage risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across operations.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
● Lead technical HSSE support and ensure safe execution of operations across the plant
● Conduct risk assessments, task reviews, and site inspections to identify hazards
● Implement and manage HSSE systems and emergency preparedness procedures
● Advise and engage contractors/vendors on HSSE expectations and performance
● Report safety metrics to the Regional and Country HSE Managers
● Conduct drills and emergency mock scenarios; propose continual improvements
● Investigate reportable incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions
● Enforce security strategies for plant facilities including access control and surveillance
● Ensure compliance with NOMAC standards, legal requirements, and internal policies
🎯 Candidate Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field
● Strong leadership in HSSE across industrial plants or utilities
● Solid understanding of emergency response, audits, and compliance reporting
● Proven experience in managing contractors and multi-stakeholder environments
● Excellent analytical and reporting skills
● Familiarity with international HSSE standards and best practices
