🧾 Job Description:
We are hiring a Safety Officer to join onshore oil & gas drilling operations in Saudi Arabia. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe working environment and enforcing strict HSE standards across all operational activities. Candidates with a proactive safety mindset and strong leadership in drilling site safety are highly encouraged to apply.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce and monitor HSE policies across drilling activities
- Conduct daily inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE briefings
- Support and document incident investigations and RCA
- Assist in JSAs, PTW, and continuous improvement of safety systems
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility
✅ Requirements:
- Experience in onshore oil & gas drilling safety roles
- Strong command of HSE site protocols and legislation
- Skilled in incident reporting, hazard identification, and site safety leadership
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
🎓 Preferred Certifications:
- NEBOSH / IOSH (Mandatory or Highly Preferred)
- OSHA, OPITO, or IADC WellSharp
- Familiarity with SMS, EHS compliance, and digital tools for reporting
