About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager β Corporate HSE to support the organization in fostering a zero-harm safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering effective HSE programs across office and field operations. This role is crucial in aligning corporate safety goals with operational activities, driving continuous improvement, and supporting regional and corporate HSE initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
π Strategic HSE Management
- Support, drive, and execute corporate Safety Improvement Plans across teams and sites
- Develop and implement Health & Safety Management System (HSEMS) plans
- Prepare and track annual HSE action plans based on internal audits and site inspections
- Coordinate and track HSE campaigns, awareness programs, and sustainability initiatives
π§ Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Design and deliver HSE induction and certification programs for new hires
- Conduct internal HSE training sessions and facilitate external training engagements
- Create safety training modules and develop HSE-related presentations and communication materials
- Lead safety committee meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions
π‘οΈ Compliance & Audits
- Conduct regular safety inspections for office facilities
- Ensure compliance with safety systems and documentation across all buildings and project locations
- Communicate safety alerts, incident reports (using SAFE platform), and root cause analysis outcomes
- Maintain HSE databases, records, certifications, and reporting dashboards
π Coordination & Engagement
- Liaise with plant, office, and field service teams for HSE alignment
- Coordinate with Operations Managers for implementing safety programs and campaigns
- Assist in incident investigations and ensure near-miss reporting protocols are followed
- Influence all levels of staff to promote proactive HSE behavior and systems adoption
Qualifications & Skills:
π Education:
- Bachelorβs degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
π Experience:
- 5β8 years in HSE, including exposure to corporate-level HSE program coordination
- Experience with multisite HSE systems, campaign planning, and internal/external stakeholder coordination
π§© Key Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of HSE standards, policies, and documentation practices
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and training skills
- Proficient in HSE data management and incident reporting tools (e.g., SAFE)
- Excellent coordination and organizational abilities across departments and locations
