🔎 Job Description:
Ceer is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Engineer – HSE to support all Health, Safety, and Environmental operations in our cutting-edge Prototype Shop. Reporting directly to the HSE Manager – PTS, the successful candidate will be responsible for risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, fire safety, COSHH implementation, and supporting ISO and security compliance within a high-voltage, fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and support all HSE-related activities within the Ceer Prototype facility
● Ensure compliance with internal policies and national/international HSE regulations
● Create SOPs, internal policies, and procedures in coordination with the HSE Manager
● Conduct risk assessments, develop safe work practices, and enforce safety protocols
● Support incident investigations, develop fire safety and COSHH control plans
● Advise on fire system performance issues (false alarms, system pressure, etc.)
● Contribute to ISO compliance, environmental audits, and security requirements
● Provide cross-functional support to internal teams and departments
● Implement and monitor HSE KPIs to ensure business goals are met
🎯 Job Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
● Certified in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
● Minimum 5+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
● Experience with high-voltage systems (HV)
● Fire response certifications and technical expertise in fire prevention systems
● Strong understanding of COSHH, ISO standards, and manufacturing safety protocols
● Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
