🔎 Job Description:
AtkinsRéalis, a global leader in engineering and infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Fire Life Safety Manager to oversee all fire protection and life safety systems within a major facility portfolio in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires deep technical expertise in fire detection and suppression systems (e.g., EDWARDS, Simplex) and compliance with NFPA, IFC, and Saudi Civil Defense regulations.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
● Ensure compliance with NFPA 72, 25, 13, 20, and 101 in all life safety systems
● Oversee ITM (Inspection, Testing & Maintenance) of fire alarms, suppression, and evacuation systems
● Manage fire pumps, jockey pumps, sprinklers, and hydraulic calculations
● Conduct fire risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
● Develop and maintain fire safety policies, documentation, and audit records
● Coordinate with local Civil Defense and lead emergency preparedness efforts
● Train staff and conduct fire drills and evacuation exercises
● Supervise fire protection contractors and system integration with BMS
● Stay current with fire safety codes and regulatory updates
🎯 Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
● 7–10 years of fire safety management experience
● Expert knowledge of EDWARDS EST3/EST4 and Simplex 4100 series
● Proven experience with fire suppression systems, pumps, and related infrastructure
● Certifications in NFPA standards (72, 13, 25, 20, 101)
● Strong leadership, emergency response, and communication skills
● Familiarity with IBC, IFC, and Saudi regulations
📜 Preferred Certifications:
● NICET (Fire Alarm Systems)
● NFPA CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist)
● OSHA / NEBOSH certifications (added value)
