🔎 Job Description:
Al Bawani Construction, a Class-1 rated and ISO 9001:2015 certified company, is hiring a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager. The selected candidate will lead the implementation, auditing, and continuous improvement of the company’s HSSE systems, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and corporate safety directives.
✅ Responsibilities:
● Lead the implementation and update of HSSE policies, procedures, and management systems
● Conduct and support internal and external safety audits and inspections
● Investigate incidents/accidents and provide technical guidance on corrective actions
● Provide safety support to operational departments and subcontractors
● Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies on safety-related issues
● Deliver in-house safety training and ensure staff compliance with HSE standards
● Oversee safety planning for new tenders and projects
● Contribute to performance evaluations, training, and nationalization efforts
● Participate in hazard analysis, HAZOPs, and risk assessments
● Drive continuous improvement and compliance with international standards
🎯 Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
● Minimum 12 years of HSE experience (construction industry preferred)
● Certified Lead Auditor ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
● IOSH Certified Member or ASP (BCSP)
● Certified Occupational Health & Safety Trainer
● Strong knowledge of local/international OHSE laws and ISO systems
● Proven leadership and incident investigation skills
● Experience with HSSE systems, audits, and competence frameworks
