We are hiring a passionate EHS Officer who can elevate safety and sustainability standards in a high-paced hospitality environment. ✅ Key Responsibilities
● Maintain and continually improve EHS and food safety management systems (HACCP, ISO, OHSMS)
● Conduct and lead internal audits, risk assessments, and inspections
● Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food hygiene regulations
● Track legal updates and implement changes into existing policies and training
● Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions
● Deliver employee training on EHS/food safety standards and emergency response
● Collaborate with departments on CSR initiatives and sustainability programs
● Oversee contractor and supplier compliance through periodic audits
● Manage documentation related to audits, compliance, and system performance
● Lead OHS meetings and liaise with management to ensure goals are met
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
● Degree in Environment, Health & Safety, Quality Management, or related field
● 1+ year experience in a similar EHS role (preferably in hospitality or the Middle East)
● Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, OHSMS regulations
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English required, Arabic preferred)
● Tech-savvy with experience in document and data management systems
● Team-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure
