🔎 Job Description:
A reputable client-side organization in Bahrain is urgently seeking an experienced HSE Engineer / Supervisor to support ongoing construction and development projects. This role focuses on overseeing safety practices across project sites, ensuring full compliance with Bahrain’s local HSE regulations and international standards.
✅ Responsibilities:
● Monitor implementation of HSE policies on behalf of the client/developer
● Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
● Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE plans
● Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective measures
● Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety drills
● Review HSE documentation and PPE compliance logs
● Oversee safety and condition of tools, equipment, and certifications
● Enforce housekeeping standards and maintain inspection records
● Coordinate with security teams to ensure controlled site access
● Lead incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions
🎯 Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field
● NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent certifications preferred
● Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in construction (client-side or consultancy role preferred)
● In-depth knowledge of Bahrain’s safety laws and environmental standards
● Strong communication and reporting abilities
● Team player with strong observation and inspection skills
