Position Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive HSE Officer to join our project team at Damac Hills 2, Dubai. You will be responsible for promoting a safe work culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing safety standards across site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and local regulatory requirements
🔹 Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits, and hazard identifications
🔹 Lead Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns
🔹 Support in incident/accident investigations and maintain accurate reports
🔹 Monitor the use of PPE and ensure proper safety signage and controls are in place
🔹 Maintain up-to-date HSE documentation and records (e.g., risk assessments, permits)
🔹 Liaise with the site team to develop corrective/preventive actions and ensure follow-up
🔹 Ensure the project team is well-versed in emergency response protocols
Qualifications & Requirements:
📘 Education & Certifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)
- Additional HSE certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid, Fire Safety) preferred
📅 Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction site HSE roles within the UAE or GCC
- Exposure to ISO/IMS systems and internal HSE audits is an added advantage
💡 Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, risk management practices, and construction safety standards
- Excellent communication, observation, and reporting abilities
- Hands-on experience with HSE documentation and site coordination
- Proficient in MS Office for safety reporting and presentations
