🔎 Job Description:
Halcon is seeking a qualified HSE Engineer (UAE National) to join our high-performing team. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and standards across industrial and defense-related projects. This role involves conducting audits, leading risk assessments, coordinating hazardous materials procedures, and collaborating with key stakeholders to maintain a safe work environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement company-wide HSE policies and procedures
● Conduct site audits, inspections, and corrective action plans
● Manage and monitor emergency response plans and risk mitigation strategies
● Review HSE deliverables, method statements, and project-specific safety plans
● Ensure compliance with FANR documentation and hazardous material handling
● Lead incident investigations and determine root causes
● Track and report on HSE KPIs and alignment with project goals
● Manage permit-to-work systems including confined space and hot work
● Oversee waste management programs and coordinate with regulatory bodies
● Deliver internal HSE training programs and workshops
🎯 Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering
● 5+ years of HSE experience in industrial or technical environments
● Strong knowledge of local & international HSE regulations and safety codes
● Solid background in risk assessment, hazardous materials, and waste management
Preferred Qualifications:
● 2+ years in manufacturing or defense industry
● Certifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Process Safety, or Risk Management
